About Tyler

I train middle school, high school, college, and professional basketball players using the techniques and methods that helped me become a 1,000 point scorer in high school, college All-American, and play professional basketball overseas.

Training is designed to focus on improving the skills and ability of each individual client.

I love seeing clients improve and their confidence grow! I use my unique trainning methods and develop an individual connection with my clients to coach them up to the next level.

I had a basketball trainer growing up, he was more than a coach, he was also a mentor, now he's one of my best friends. As a player, I also studied all-time great players and practiced their best moves religiously, 2-3 hours a day. From my research, trial and error, I designed a training program that helps undersized players maximize their abilities.

I now enjoy passing on the knowledge I've gained to the next generation of hoopers.

I have a Masters Degree in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University and a Bachelors Degree from Indiana University.

About the class

I communicate via phone/email with a potential client about their goals prior to our first sesson. My training sessions consist of: Dynamic Warm-up, Spot Shooting, Ball Handling, Shooting on the Move, Game-like Competitions, Conditioning, and Injury Prevention/Athletic Improvement.

I have trained entry level middle school and high school players with goals to make their school teams, varsity standouts eyeing then next level, college and pro players home for the summer working to stay in shape and sharpen their skills.

My adivce would be to ask all the questions you need before scheduling a workout. Also, do one workout before committing to multiple sessions. Make sure you feel comfortable with that person.

I know I'm just one small part of a large team helping these players but... I'm proud off the high school players that I've helped get onto college basketball teams and of the college players I helped to play professional basketball.

What is this Trainer's faciliy situation?

I train at LA Fitness in Evanston on Sundays between 8am - 8pm. The athlete must be 13 years old and up and $15 drop in fee or membership is required.
