About Jeff

I can teach all ages and all skill levels of students. I am a skills-focused basketball trainer. I can improve your skills such as shooting, footwork, and situational offense and defense, making you a better player in any basketball setting, whether it's 1v1 or an organized 5v5 game. I am based in Alhambra, CA, and can also travel to your location (within 15 miles).

I love the sport of basketball and I have been playing it for 10 years. When I was younger, I always wanted a trainer that could teach me the basics and help me improve. Now, I want to give back to the basketball community and help anyone that wants to improve to achieve their dreams.

I have trained children before in an informal setting, working on fundamentals of basketball. Eventually, my love for basketball training grew and now I am looking to seriously pursue basketball training to improve players' skills.

I have played basketball for 10 years and 4 years at the college intramural level. I have been trained by many trainers over the years and have gained an immense amount of basketball knowledge regarding shooting, footwork, and situational offense and defense.

I will ask the client what skill area they want to improve on, and tailor the session to the student's needs. I will start with a warmup before jumping into the full workout, and then a cooldown session at the end.

I have trained people ranging from 3-16 years old. I look forward to working with anyone, regardless of age.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about what skill you want to work on the most, and I will cater a session to your needs. This really helps me focus on specific drills needed so that you can improve as fast as possible, while doing the least amount of busy work to get there. I believe in working smart and maximizing each rep so you can get to your goals faster.
