About Safa
Hello, my name is Safa and I'm excited to be here on this website! I'm originally from Karachi, Pakistan, and am currently a curious and career-oriented computer science student. Throughout my academic journey, I have found myself naturally drawn to teaching, often taking on the role of a peer tutor during extra classroom time.
As an educator, I have gained valuable insights into how the current generation thinks about and approaches the subject. Being a part of the same generation allows me to better understand the challenges and perspectives of my students.
Aside from my academic pursuits, I have a passion for poetry and watching TED talks. I'm also a big tea lover - I think I might be made up of 70% tea instead of water!
I have over three years of teaching experience, including assisting professors at my college. I take a delegating style of teaching that empowers students to participate in the learning process. I believe in creating a friendly and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new concepts.
