About Tanja
I am a scientist-practitioner with ample experience in tutoring and lecturing. I have taught any subject imaginable and for all ages. I have approximately 14 years experience, enjoying helping others whenever I can. I have taught individuals, as well as university classes with up to 40 students. Many school learners have gone from failing their languages and sciences to getting distinctions after my tutor assistance. My teaching method entails problem-point-sourcing and then first working on the identified weaknesses. Thereafter, I always go back to the foundation of the subject and build the subject up from there based on the new content. I am really patient and a good listener. I also take more of a strict feedback-approach when recapping a previous lesson or after new content has been dealt with. This does not only help the student to grasp the work better, but also helps me as the tutor to improve my teaching method and realise when the content was not relayed sufficiently.
