About Andrés Rogelio

.

.

I started out teaching family friends how to play guitar since I was 16. Since that I have become a tutor for multiple subjects (Theory, Rhythm, Music Tech, Vocal Improv) at The New School of Jazz.

I´m a BA and BFA student at the New School. I´m a singer-songwriter and producer, and have taken lessons with Stew Stewart, Laurence Hobgod, Machan Taylor, amongst others. I´m passionate about lyrics and production alike.

About the class

1) Understanding their goals so I can tailor the lessons to them.

2) Letting them know how I usually teach this particular subject.

3) "Trial" lesson

Complete beginners and experienced musicians.

#1 Choose someone that can teach you with the music that you like.

#2 Someone that makes you approach music as a fun activity.
