About Jake
About Me I am an experienced and dedicated Physical Education teacher with five years of teaching in inner London secondary schools. I hold a 1st Class Honours degree in Sport, Physical Education and Development from the University of East London, alongside a PGCE in Secondary Physical Education with QTS. My teaching approach is student-focused, blending practical application with academic theory to inspire engagement and achievement in physical education. Throughout my career, I have pursued continuous professional development, completing a variety of qualifications, including a Level 5 in Sports Nutrition, Level 3 certifications in Personal Training, Exercise Referral, and Sports Conditioning, as well as specialised courses in trampolining, parkour, and disability sports. These qualifications, combined with my diverse coaching experience, enable me to deliver dynamic and inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of all learners. Beyond teaching, I bring additional expertise as a Level 3 Sports Conditioning Coach and certified Personal Trainer, with years of experience in the fitness industry. I incorporate a mix of resources, including past papers, visual aids, and bespoke materials, to ensure sessions are interactive and varied.
