About Sarah
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Millersville University in 2012. After graduation, I worked as Head of Special Education at an inner city charter school before moving on to working in a Diagnostic classroom. I went on to earn my Masters of Arts in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Grand Canyon University in May 2020. For the past 2 school years, I have been tutoring online as well as working as a 5th grade Learning Support Teacher at an online charter school.
I have experience working with students with a variety of disability categories and diagnoses, including, but not limited to: ASD, ADHD/ADD, ODD, ID, PTSD, and RAD.
When working with students online, I do my best to make my lessons fun and interactive by utilizing a variety of different online platforms. I spend time getting to know each of my students individually and figuring out which method(s) work best for them.
