I teach by the following principles:

- Fast, tailored feedback: adapt to the learner’s pace and style throughout. Apply cognitive load theory to support effective learning at a sustainable pace. Takes the form of longer guided projects that give a sense of achievement quickly and compound learning.
- Pursuit of excellence: provide accessible sessions whilst encouraging the learner to challenge themselves. Takes the form of end of session discussion and stretch-goal-setting.
My tutoring curriculum focuses on computational thinking for absolute beginners, functional programming and mathematics.
