Science is an extension of curiosity and permeates our lives.
I have a passion for pupils to be able to access science at all levels and aim to instil that into my students by encouraging and motivating their involvement in science.
My lessons are enjoyable but challenging. My mission is to ignite scientific curiosity in students so that they question intelligently and learn through discovery.
To achieve this I regularly encourage the natural curiosity of learners at all levels, develop schemes of work that have a strong practical element; so that all students achieve regardless of their ability. I celebrate achievements and aim to increase scientific literacy and that every student that I teach leaves with a recognised scientific qualification.
I also like to encourage my students to continue to study science at KS5 and beyond and to consider a science based career.
