A vibrant energetic, forward-thinking educational leader with experience teaching Science (GCSE), Physics (A-Level), and Psychology(A-Level) following the UK curriculum.
With more than 20 years of teaching experience, 13 of which I served in the UK and 9 years in South Africa, I consider myself an outstanding classroom practitioner with exposure to teaching students from diverse cultural backgrounds, some with limited English. As Vice-Principal I was tasked with the preparation of the school for Ofsted inspections. More recently, the outbreak of Covid 19 has provided me with an opportunity to hone my on-line teaching skills.

While my classroom has a relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to learning, there exist clear routines for acceptable behavior. My perception of education rests on the following premise, ‘rather than take a horse to water, create a thirst in the horse so that it seeks water. ‘This can be accomplished by varying teaching methods and by the sharing of ideas with colleagues.
