About Saarah
As a qualified Primary Teacher with QTS, I have extensive experience working with children across KS1 and KS2 in a range of classroom and educational settings. I understand that every child learns differently, so I take the time to build confidence, identify gaps in understanding and adapt my teaching to suit each pupil’s individual needs.
I aim to create a calm, encouraging and positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My teaching is closely linked to the National Curriculum, and I use my classroom experience to provide clear explanations, structured support and appropriate challenge.
I have experience supporting pupils with Maths, English, reading, writing, SPaG, SATs preparation and additional learning needs. I am a qualified Primary Teacher with QTS and experience teaching children across KS1 and KS2. My lessons are friendly, structured and adapted to each child’s individual ability, learning style and confidence.
I use a range of teaching techniques including clear modelling, visual resources, questioning, worked examples, practical activities and regular assessment for learning. I identify any gaps in understanding and break concepts down into manageable steps before gradually increasing the level of challenge.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and include a short recap, focused teaching, guided practice and independent work. I also provide plenty of encouragement and feedback to help children become more confident and independent learners.
I can support pupils with:

* Catch-up and intervention work
