About Louisa
I’m a highly experienced primary teacher and SEN specialist who has recently relocated to Sydney from the UK. I hold both UK and Australian citizenship and bring over 18 years of experience supporting children across the primary age range, including extensive work with neurodivergent learners.
Teaching has always been about more than academic progress for me. I’m passionate about helping children feel understood, confident and capable, particularly those who may have found learning challenging in a mainstream setting. I believe that with the right support, structure and encouragement, every child can make meaningful progress and enjoy learning again.
Where appropriate, I can incorporate gentle yoga, mindfulness and short meditation activities to support focus, self-regulation and emotional well-being. I also offer primary-level French, taught through games, songs and interactive activities to build confidence and enjoyment in language learning.

Profile Description
I am a qualified primary teacher and SEN specialist with over 18 years’ experience supporting children with additional learning needs. I specialise in literacy support for neurodivergent learners, including ADHD, autism and dyslexia.
My approach is calm, structured and child-centred, with a strong focus on building confidence, engagement and independence. I have extensive experience supporting children who feel anxious, overwhelmed or who have lost confidence in learning.
Sessions are fully tailored to each child’s individual needs, using practical strategies that work and adapt as the child progresses. I work closely with parents and keep communication clear and supportive, so families feel confident about next steps.
I support primary-aged children and offer online or in-person sessions in Sydney.
