About Kevin

Hi, I’m Kevin, a primary school teacher from Ireland with 8 years of teaching experience in Ireland and the UAE. I’m passionate about helping children learn, grow in confidence and reach their potential, particularly when it comes to Math. I enjoy making lessons fun, engaging and tailored to each student’s needs. I want to tutor because I love working one-to-one with children and seeing the progress they make when they understand a concept and realize they can succeed. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while helping every student become a more confident and independent learner.

About the class

I am a primary school teacher with 8 years’ experience teaching Maths in Ireland and the UAE. I use fun, engaging and personalised lessons, adapting my approach to each child’s ability and learning style. Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes and are suitable for primary-aged pupils, particularly Key Stage 1 and 2. I use clear explanations, practical examples, questioning, games and targeted practice to build both mathematical understanding and confidence. My aim is to make Maths enjoyable while helping pupils develop strong problem-solving skills and become independent learners.
