I am an experienced Physics teacher with over 12 years of teaching GCSE and A Level Physics, specialising in the AQA specification. I have previously been Head of Physics and now teach at Repton School, where I also hold a senior pastoral role supporting students in their academic progress, confidence and study skills. I am an experienced Physics teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience, specialising in GCSE and A Level Physics, with extensive experience teaching the AQA specification.
Having previously been a Head of Physics Head of Department, I have a deep understanding of the curriculum, assessment objectives and what students need to do to achieve the highest grades. I am particularly experienced in helping students develop confidence with challenging concepts, mathematical problem-solving and exam technique.
I currently work at Repton School, where I have a senior pastoral role within the boarding community. This has given me extensive experience supporting young people not only academically, but also with confidence, organisation, motivation and developing effective study habits.
