I am a Mechanical Engineer with a MBA degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science. I am a certified Six Sigma (Green Belt) practitioner. I am passionate about helping students demystify the complexities of Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering Statics catering to high school and STEM undergraduates. I help not only with school/college/university curriculum but also teach selective subjects for SAT 1 & 2, APs, GMAT and other competitive exams. I am a firm believer in "practice makes perfect" especially when it comes to the three most fascinating subjects: mathematics, physics and statistics!
A typical lesson with me would involve a justifiable mix of teaching and understanding of the concepts through visual and verbal cues, solving practice questions with gradually increasing levels of difficulty and revision of concepts. Reading notes will be emailed at the end of the class and students can opt to receive additional practice questions.
My teaching philosophy is to first develop a rapport with the student through trust building and going beyond the textbook to give real-life examples while focusing on both simplifying the conceptual understanding and practicing enough questions to improve subject matter retention.
