About Sierra
Hi, I’m Sierra, a nurse with six years of clinical experience and a passion for helping nursing students succeed. I began my nursing journey as an RPN, completed an RPN-to-RN bridging program, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Having completed each stage of the nursing education pathway, I understand how challenging nursing school, clinical placements, exams, assignments, and bridging programs can feel. My own experience allows me to support students with practical advice, clear explanations, study strategies, and real-world clinical examples.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to help students improve their understanding, strengthen their clinical judgment, build confidence, and feel more prepared for nursing school and future practice.

Hi, I’m Sierra, a nurse with six years of experience and a strong background in nursing education. I completed the RPN program, an RPN-to-RN bridging program, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
My tutoring approach is supportive, practical, and personalized to each student’s learning style. I break down difficult nursing concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations and connect theory to real clinical examples. I use practice questions, case studies, visual learning tools, memory techniques, and step-by-step review to help students understand the material rather than simply memorize it.
A typical lesson begins with a discussion of the student’s goals and areas of difficulty. We then review the main concepts, work through examples or nursing scenarios, and complete practice questions together. I also teach test-taking strategies, prioritization, critical thinking, and how to identify the most important information in nursing exam questions. At the end of each lesson, we review key points and create a plan for continued studying.
What sets me apart is my experience completing the nursing education journey from RPN to RN. I understand the challenges of nursing school, bridging programs, clinical placements, assignments, and exam preparation. I provide a welcoming and judgment-free learning environment where students can ask questions, build confidence, and develop stronger clinical reasoning skills.
My lessons are suitable for Practical Nursing students, Bachelor of Science in Nursing students, RPN-to-RN bridging students, new nursing graduates, and students preparing for nursing exams. I can assist with nursing fundamentals, health assessment, pharmacology, mental health, gerontology, medical-surgical nursing, care planning, clinical preparation, assignments, study skills, and NCLEX-style questions.
