About Johannes
Hei! I'm Johannes, and although I'm originally from Oslo, I've made London my home over the past year. I've been teaching Norwegian for two years now, and I really enjoy meeting new students and helping them reach their goals.
Outside teaching, I'm passionate about art, and especially music. I also have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Oslo.

I have worked with students at all levels, from beginners (A1) to more advanced learners preparing for Norskprøven (B1–B2), and even near fluent speakers wishing to hone their speaking skills (C1-C2), both in groups and one-to-one.
I like to build on what my students already know through conversation, practical exercises and real-life examples. Every student is different, so our lessons might involve anything from practising everyday conversations to reading, listening or working on grammar. I also like to include cultural points, because I think it is useful to know about the context in which the language is used.
Everyone is welcome in my lessons, regardless of background or level of experience. I generally teach in English or Norwegian, but I also speak French, German and Portuguese, so I can offer help in those languages too.
