About Victor
Hi! I'm Victor, a UK-based singer and songwriter. I have been teaching singing, guitar and music theory to people of various ages ands skill levels for over 12 years now. During this period, I have obtained experience as a recording and touring musician, as well as a B.Mus degree and a Master's in Popular Music Studies from the University of Glasgow. And to this day, helping other people understand and express themselves through music remains my biggest passion.
Having been a music practitioner my whole life, I understand the process of learning music can be daunting. That's why I believe patience and empathy are core traits of a good music teacher, which I will always bring to our lessons.

Music theory is a vast and fascinating subject, and there are many possible reasons to want to master it. Maybe you want to improve as a songwriter? Perhaps you want to develop sight reading skills? Or maybe you just want to develop a deeper understanding of your instrument or voice?
That is why our music theory lessons will be highly customized to your needs and interests. Our first lesson will be dedicated to assessing your level of understanding and general goals with music theory, which will help me develop a realistic plan to help you achieve these goals.
For example, in the past I have helped songwriters expand their musical vocabulary and refine their arranging abilities, allowed singers to develop more confidence in their musicianship and supported music producers as they tried to have a better understanding of the tools they had at their disposal. I will be glad to hear your reasons to dive into music theory and help you explore this world.
