About Michaela
I am a passionate and adaptable educator with experience teaching in diverse classrooms across Canada and internationally. Currently, I teach Grade 5/6 at George Fitton School in Brandon, Manitoba, where I create inclusive, student-centered learning experiences tailored to the unique academic and social-emotional needs of my students. Throughout my career, I have taught Grades 1-6 in Guatemala, Kyrgyzstan, and Canada, working with international curricula, implementing differentiated instruction, and supporting second-language learners. My expertise spans Math, Science, Social Studies, Phonics, and Reading Recognition, as well as English language tutoring for adults (B1-C1 levels), focusing on fluency, grammar, and practical communication skills.
