About Sorcha
I am a Melbourne-based jazz/session guitarist, songwriter, and producer. I have 12 years of teaching experience and have collaborated and toured with many artists, including RocKwiz Live, Harvey Sutherland, The Meltdown, and ARIA award-winning band All Our Exes Live in Texas. I perform regularly with my band The Sorcha Albuquerque Trio and my original compositions are featured on two ABC jazz releases. I have performed as a sideperson at festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival, Splendour In The Grass, Bluesfest, and Falls Festival, and outside of music am passionate about yoga and mindfulness practice. I am particularly passionate about teaching improvisation, and songwriting, and how to integrate mindfulness into your musical practice.

My lessons are tailored to your individual needs and musical goals and will leave you feeling inspired and motivated! I offer 30 min, 45, or 1-hour lessons from my home in Thornbury or online. Lessons include a personalized practice schedule, PDF materials, and email correspondence between lessons. All ages and levels are welcome.
