Hello! I'm an experienced music teacher and guitarist with a diverse international performance background spanning multiple genres. My musical journey began at a young age when I first picked up the guitar, and my passion for music has only grown since. Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing in various countries, which has exposed me to a wide range of musical styles and traditions. This rich experience has profoundly influenced my teaching approach, allowing me to bring a global perspective to my lessons.
I hold a degree in Music Performance, which has provided me with a solid foundation in both the technical and theoretical aspects of music. My professional performance career has taken me to stages around the world, where I've played everything from classical and jazz to rock and blues. This versatility is a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy; I believe that exposure to different genres enhances a musician's versatility and creativity. My goal is to pass on this versatility to my students, helping them to become well-rounded musicians who can appreciate and perform a variety of musical styles.
Teaching music for the past three years has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I've worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced players looking to refine their technique. My approach is highly personalized; I take the time to understand each student's unique goals, interests, and learning styles. More advanced students might work on refining their technique, expanding their repertoire, or exploring music theory in greater depth. I use a variety of teaching materials, including sheet music, tablature, and audio recordings, to make the learning process engaging and comprehensive.
A significant portion of the lesson is dedicated to practical application and performance. Students get the chance to apply what they've learned by playing along with backing tracks, improvising, or working on pieces they are passionate about.
