About Maitry
I’m a London-based artist, game designer and educator working across games, animation and creative media. I graduated with First-Class Honours in 3D Animation and Games and later an MA at the Royal College of Art. My work has been exhibited and screened internationally, including at EGX Rezzed Gaming Convention, and my films have received recognition from festivals including the London International Animation Festival and the Academy Award-qualifying Bucheon International Animation Festival.
I’ve presented talks on games and creative practice at gamescom latam in São Paulo and Liv Game Summit in Liverpool, and have contributed to the games community as a Games for Change Awards juror. Alongside my professional creative practice, I teach games, animation and digital media at college and have previously taught at master's university level.

I teach games, animation, 3D and creative media in a practical and supportive way. I currently teach at college and have also taught at master's university level, working with students from beginners through to advanced learners. Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you want to learn a new software, develop a game or animation project, build a portfolio, or simply understand the creative process better. I focus on learning by doing - Kinesthetic approach. Be wary though, my job is not to shower you in compliments, but to prompt divergent thinking in games and animation, similar to how game designers develop their games! Fun and competitive!
