About Felix
I am a 2+ year experienced tutor and also been a tutee many times so I am able to give genuinely engaging lessons. I know from first-hand familiarity which teaching methods work best!
I have passion for mathematics and an extensive understanding of the subject. I can give in-depth teaching and can help students both understand and recall mathematical techniques.
I am currently an Undergraduate at Manchester University studying physics with recent completion of A-levels receiving 3 A* in Maths, Further Maths and Physics.
Having completed A-levels so recently it gives me a better understanding of what students are currently studying and the course details. This allows me to give more personalised notes when teaching that is otherwise lost!

My lessons will take place online usually lasting 1 hour - enough to keep engaged but not too tiring! I use a mix of online whiteboard and physical pen and paper for effective collaborative work.
I provide focused, goal-driven sessions with my approach using spontaneous questioning to improve recollection and drive more understanding of the topic. My teaching will also be personalised to help students stay engaged and motivated while moving towards real, measurable learning success.
All my lessons are prepared beforehand to allow best use of time, and additional follow-up work can be given and marked if requested to improve the effectiveness of lessons.
My teaching is backed by experience both teaching and being taught as a tutor and tutee. This allows me to give really engaging and intellectual lessons.
Lessons taught for SATs, GCSE, A-level maths or anything in between!
I also do extended teaching for those in all ages that want to go above and beyond the syllabus to get a feel for what may be ahead in their studies.
