Hello! I'm Mr. Art, a Florida-certified teacher and a proud U.S. Army veteran. Teaching has been my calling for over 15 years, taking me from classrooms in Texas and Florida to schools in Bogotá and Cartagena, Colombia. I've had the privilege of working with students of all ages—from young learners in 2nd grade to adults preparing for professional certification exams. I'm also a musician; I play piano and sing, which keeps me creative and connected to the joy of learning. I am a Florida-certified teacher with 15 years of experience in the U.S. and Colombia, and a U.S. Army veteran. I hold a Professional Teaching Certificate in Prekindergarten/Primary Education (Age 3–Grade 3) and have taught English, math, science, and global perspectives to students from 2nd grade through adults. I've also served as a Cambridge test examiner and worked with students who had no prior English experience, helping them build confidence and skills from the ground up.
My approach is simple: I meet each student where they are. I take time to learn what they enjoy, what they struggle with, and what motivates them. Then we work together at their pace—always on the right level, always with clear goals. I use practical, hands-on activities to make learning engaging and effective. I also give homework and review past topics to ensure steady progress.

After our first session, my rate increases to reflect my qualifications: Florida Professional Teaching Certification, 15 years of classroom experience across two countries, and my background as a U.S. Army veteran.
