About Tish
I don't consider floral design a job, because I love what I do. As we are progressing through the lessons, I encourage homework, field trips, hands-on design, and experimentation. As you become more familiar with the textures, smells, and varieties of live and life-like flowers, your passion will grow. You'll learn the tools and supplies needed to create live and life-like arrangements. I'll show you how to take ribbon and create bows of all types, from a simple bow to ones that contain multiple colors, sizes, and textures of ribbon. I have spent nearly 50 years loving flowers and floral design. I am so happy to be able to share my love with you.

I began my lifelong love of floral design several decades ago. As a successful shop owner, I learned that as will all things, nothing stays the same, if you can imagine it, you can design it.
We start with the basics of flower identification, some are well know, and some are more rare, but nearly every flower on earth is available. We will spend time looking at color, availability, and longevity.
Floral design can bring you years of joy by giving you the ability to present your friends and family with beautiful live and life-like floral arrangements they will cherish.
Beyond just being a hobby, the techniques you learn can become a vocation. Weddings, baby showers, anniversaries, funerals, and holidays open opportunities for income.
