Hi, I’m Charis — an English educator with a big love for language and over 10 years of experience helping people grow in confidence and skill. I have a Master’s in Education from the University of Oxford, and I’ve taught in public schools, created literacy programs, and worked with learners of all ages — from early readers to adults. Hi, I'm Charis — an English language educator with over 10 years of experience supporting learners of all ages and backgrounds. I’ve worked as a public school teacher, a literacy program designer, and an NGO co-founder focused on helping children learn to read and write with confidence. I hold a Master's in Education from the University of Oxford and a teaching certification in English from a Malaysian university. My teaching style is student-centered, kind, and flexible. I integrate reading, writing, speaking, and listening into lessons whenever possible, and I use gentle prompts and feedback to help learners grow their skills and voice over time.
