About Shikha

Hello! I am Shikha, an experienced English educator with a Master's degree in English and over five years of school-teaching experience.

Teaching English is more than explaining grammar rules to me. I believe students learn best when they understand how a language works and how to use it in real-life situations. This belief shapes my teaching approach, where I use practical examples, logical explanations and guided practice to make learning meaningful and effective.

During my teaching career, I have worked with school students at different learning levels and helped them strengthen their grammatical foundations, improve their writing and develop greater confidence in English. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and practice activities to suit individual needs.

I am patient, organized and committed to helping my students make steady progress. I encourage questions, welcome mistakes as opportunities to learn, and aim to create a comfortable environment where students can express themselves without hesitation.

My goal is to help every learner develop a strong command of English that supports both academic success and everyday communication.

If you are looking for a dedicated English teacher who values conceptual clarity, individual attention and meaningful learning, I would be happy to help your child progress.

My online English classes are designed to help students understand English concepts clearly, improve their grammar, and develop confidence in reading and writing.

With over 5 years of school-teaching experience and an M.A. in English, I use a concept-based teaching approach that focuses on understanding rather than rote memorization.

**What students will learn:**

• English grammar explained through practical, real-life examples
• Tenses, subject–verb agreement, articles, determiners and sentence structure
• Writing skills, including paragraphs, letters, essays and other syllabus-based formats
• Reading comprehension and vocabulary development
• School examination preparation and regular practice
• Identification and correction of common grammatical errors

**My teaching approach**

I begin with examples and everyday situations, help students discover the underlying concepts, and then guide them through structured practice. Every lesson is planned according to the student's class level, learning needs and school syllabus.

I encourage students to ask questions, express their ideas and learn from their mistakes in a supportive environment. My aim is not merely to help students score well in examinations, but also to help them use English accurately and confidently.

**Classes offered:** Classes 6–10
**Boards:** CBSE and ICSE
**Mode:** Online, with personalized attention and interactive lessons.

Whether your child needs stronger grammatical foundations, help with schoolwork or focused examination preparation, the lessons will be tailored to their individual needs.
