I offer tailored, engaging English Literature and Language lessons designed to build confidence, sharpen analytical thinking, and improve written expression. My teaching style is friendly, structured, and responsive to each student’s needs—whether they’re aiming for top grades or need support catching up. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, and I use a mix of close reading, discussion, exam practice, and targeted feedback. I always begin with a short diagnostic or conversation to understand your learning goals, current level, and preferred style of working. I’ve previously tutored secondary students focusing on GCSE and A-Level English Literature and Language, and I hold an MA in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. I’m also happy to support learners in related subjects such as Politics, Modern Studies, or Sociology, particularly where essay writing or critical reading is involved. My lessons are suitable for students aged 11+, including KS3, GCSE, and A-Level learners, and I offer both online and in-person sessions in London.
