About Ashley

Hi! I'm a certified educator with nearly 12 years of experience teaching English Language Arts and Reading. I have a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and an Education Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership.

Throughout my career, I've worked as an English teacher, reading interventionist, and instructional coach. I've had the opportunity to work with students from different backgrounds and academic levels, and I understand that everyone learns at their own pace.

I enjoy helping students improve their reading and writing skills, but what I love most is seeing their confidence grow. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning without feeling judged.

I'm patient, dependable, and passionate about education. Whether you need help with an essay, reading comprehension, or just want to become a stronger writer, I'm here to help you reach your goals!

I've been teaching English and Reading for almost 12 years, and one thing I've learned is that every student learns differently. I like to take the time to figure out what a student needs help with and go from there. My goal is to make learning less stressful and help students feel more confident in their abilities.

During a typical tutoring session, we'll review what the student is working on, go over any areas they're struggling with, and practice those skills together. I like to break things down into smaller steps and use examples that students can actually relate to. I also encourage students to ask questions and speak up when something doesn't make sense.

I've worked as an English teacher, reading interventionist, and instructional coach, so I have experience working with students of all ability levels. I also have a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and Education Specialist degree.

I primarily work with middle school, high school, and college students who need help with reading comprehension, writing, grammar, essays, or English assignments in general. I'm patient, easy to talk to, and genuinely enjoy helping students finally understand something they've been struggling with.
