About Connor
I have been playing MTG since the beginning of 2017, I have been in love with the game ever since. My favourite format to play is draft and I am a consistent presence at my local game store for their friday night magic drafts. I recently completed their draft league as the top winning deck and 3-0'd the sold out phyrexia all will be one prerelease.
What i love most about draft as a format is that it rewards you for your skill all the way through the event. from your first draft pick all the way to deck construction each choice matters and impacts how your games will go.
Win or lose I always enjoy drafting and learning from each experience. I hope that after our lessons you will too.

Whether you are just beginning your drafting journey or you are someone who wants to up the ante at your FnM drafts my lessons will help you along your journey to becoming a more confident Magic the Gathering player.
I will take you through the basics of drafting, from the drafting process and how to judge the powerlevel of cards in the format to building your deck and how to maximise the wins you can achieve.
The first lessons as introductions to the format can be done using MTGArena which is the premier online MTG client. Together we will make our way through a draft and touch on the important concepts that form the basis for any good draft deck. Once the drafting process is complete we will build the deck together taking into consideration the gameplan of the deck and how best to achieve its goal. We will then play the deck against other draft decks and practice our decision making throughout the games.
Typical lessons should only take about 2 hours. with the first portion getting to know your skill level and what you would like to focus on. afterwards approximately 45 minutes for the drafting portion of the lesson and then the rest of the period will be spent building the deck and playing it against other draft decks.
