About Vivika
I studied A-level Design Engineering, Maths, and Physics at Highgate School, for which I received A*, A, A. I also received the Arkwright Engineering Scholarship and the Royal Academy of Engineering Award for exceptional pupil achievement. I am currently in my third year at UCLA student studying Environmental Engineering.
Having achieved both A*s in GCSE and A-Level Design & Technology, I am well versed in the DT curriculum and grading rubric. I can help you with certain aspects of the curriculum you are uncertain of and help build your confidence in problem-solving.
I'm passionate about working on innovative projects and thinking outside the box. Currently, I'm designing a bio-inspired soft robotic device for coral reef conservation. I love helping students develop a deep understanding of design and engineering concepts while enjoying the creative process.

I have experience as a teaching assistant in my school's Design Technology Engineering department, in which I assisted GCSE and A-level students with their projects, providing guidance and hands-on assistance. As a student who has done both IGCSE and A-level Design Technology, I am very familiar with the format of the courses and can help you ace the written portion of the exams for various boards.
I focus on problem-solving and really understanding concepts to apply them to challenging exam-style questions. I can also help with coursework projects, providing feedback and hands-on assistance as well. Additionally, I provide mentorship for design-engineering portfolios, CVs, cover letters, and university applications, drawing from my experience with UCAS and US University applications.
