I have experience in Academia and in the industry. I have a BSc in Actuarial Science, MSc in Mathematics, worked as an Economic Research Analyst in an academic Institution and currently work as a Data Scientist in the industry. This gives me have the ability to analyze data from different perspectives.
Lessons typically involve exposing my students to the theory in statistics, forecasting, data cleaning, outlier detection and Machine learning (Natural Language Processing (NLP)). A key part of my lessons is using practical hand-on exercises or datasets to help students understand the statistical theories. My lessons are for students with all levels of experience. I can also help students with projects for Bachelor and Master level degrees.
The software I use and teach are Excel, R, Stata, SQL and python.
