About Ollie

I'm a close-up magician with over six years of experience in card magic and a medalist in the Australian Junior Championships of Magic. I've performed professionally at private events and created and released original magic for other magicians. I'm passionate about both the technical and performance sides of magic, and I enjoy helping others develop their skills and become more confident performers.

About the class

My lessons focus on practical card magic that you can actually perform to people. I can teach everything from beginner fundamentals to advanced sleight of hand, as well as presentation, misdirection, routine construction and performing confidently. Lessons will be tailored to your current skill level and what you want to learn.

I’ve known Ollie through magic for several years and have seen how much work he’s put into both the technical and performance sides of it. He’s very knowledgeable about card magic and sleight of hand, but he’s also good at explaining why things work and how to make an effect stronger for an audience. He’s patient, easy to talk to and genuinely enjoys helping other magicians improve. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn magic, whether they’re a complete beginner or already have some experience.
