About Ahrang

I am a dedicated classical vocalist with a deep passion for music education. Having studied classical voice extensively in Korea, I bring rich musical knowledge and precise technique to my students. I am a patient, friendly, and structured teacher who loves sharing the joy of singing while helping students discover and develop their unique voices naturally.

About the class

My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in classical singing, voice techniques, and proper breathing methods. I naturally combine basic music theory and sight-reading using the piano, helping beginners easily understand how to read clefs and notes. Every lesson is conducted in a calm, encouraging, and supportive atmosphere tailored to each student's pace.

Please Note:

Student Intake: I currently offer face-to-face (in-person) lessons for female students only. Thank you for your understanding!

Lesson Format: All sessions are conducted strictly face-to-face. (Online/Zoom lessons are not available).

Lesson Requirements: Students must have a piano (or digital piano/keyboard) at home for the lesson. If you do not have one, you will need to book a local music practice room for our sessions.

Safety & Trust: I hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Lesson Duration: All regular sessions and the free trial lesson run for 50 minutes.

Perfect! I’ve really enjoyed my singing lessons with Ahrang. She is very patient, supportive, encouraging and always makes me feel comfortable during our lessons. She explains things clearly and gives really helpful feedback that has helped me improve my singing and become more confident with my voice. She also has such an impressive and beautiful voice herself, which makes learning from her even more inspiring. I really appreciate how encouraging she is and how she makes every lesson enjoyable while still helping me improve. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, talented and professional vocal teacher!

It was a absolute pleasure having our first lesson with Dinh! Dinh showed fantastic passion, focus, and a great attitude throughout the session. Dinh followed my guidance very well, and I'm really excited to see how much more confidence and vocal expression will grow in our upcoming lessons.

Thank you for your great focus and positive attitude in today's lesson! You followed the vocal techniques very well. As we continue to work on deep abdominal breathing to relax the upper body, your vocal tone will become even richer and more comfortable. You made a fantastic start today!

The greatest strength of my teacher that I experienced firsthand is her warm, kind, and accommodating attitude toward students. Because vocal music requires using one's own body as an instrument, a student's psychological state has a profound impact on the sound they produce. Recognizing this, she always created a comfortable and positive atmosphere. Thanks to this environment, I was able to sing joyfully and focus entirely on my voice without feeling tense, intimidated, or afraid of making mistakes.

Furthermore, her lessons are incredibly precise and systematic. She explains the principles of breathing and vocalization—concepts that can often feel abstract—in a very clear and intuitive manner tailored to the student's level. By accurately pinpointing the issues in my sound and providing specific, actionable solutions, she helped me build a solid foundation. Rather than just singing vaguely, I now know exactly which muscles to use and how to engage them, and I can personally feel a significant improvement in my skills.

I am confident that anyone who receives guidance from a teacher with such warmth and sharp insight will be able to discover and beautifully cultivate their hidden voice. If you have a passion for vocal music, I highly recommend starting a meaningful musical journey with her
