About Gowri

Hello! I'm Gowri, and I love helping children discover that learning can actually be enjoyable.
I started teaching because I remember how confusing school can feel when no one takes the time to explain things properly. Many children aren't weak in studies; they just haven't had someone patiently show them the 'why' behind a concept. I want to be that person for your child.
For the past 2 years, I've been teaching CBSE students in Classes 1-8 at home, one-on-one. That gives me the chance to really know each child: where they struggle, what they enjoy, and how they learn best. I love the moment when Math finally "clicks" or a shy child starts asking questions on their own.
I teach with patience, simple language and plenty of encouragement. Lessons follow the NCERT/CBSE syllabus, with regular practice and short tests so you can see real progress. If your child needs a little extra attention, we'll go at their pace together.

About the class

I'm not a fan of making kids mug things up. When a child really understands why something works, whether it's a fraction, a science experiment or a grammar rule, the marks follow on their own. So in my classes, we go slowly, use everyday examples, and I'm happy to explain a thing three different ways if that's what it takes.
Every child learns differently, so I adjust to their pace and keep lessons relaxed enough that they feel comfortable asking questions. I follow the NCERT/CBSE syllabus, give small weekly tests so we both know where they stand, and keep parents updated on how things are going.
