About Loria

I am currently a travelling tutor with experience in teaching and tutoring Maths, EMS and languages in both Afrikaans and English. My qualification is in BCom Hons Industrial Psychology with main subjects in Business studies ,Financial Management and Accounting. My teaching and computer-facilitated tutoring range from pre-school to Gr 9.

About the class

I prefer one-to-one sessions, ranging from 30 mins (primary school learners) to 1 hour and a half (gr 8 and 9). I use the CAPS guidelines as well as my own notes and examples when approaching a subject matter. I deal with one topic at a time, explaining the basic concepts first before exploring the different types of examples usually asked in tests, assignments and exams. I also provide handy techniques and study methods and highlight to the learner what types of questions are asked regularly and have the most weighed percentage in a term exam.
