About Jide
Maths Tutor with a degree in chemical engineering and project management qualifications. I have been tutoring for over 10 years now. I have taught several students over the years and they have achieved remarkable grades especially from their predicted grades. My engineering background provides an analytical approach which forms a good basis to demonstrate to students effective process-based approaches to solving maths problems. My project management background provides an organised and goal-oriented approach which forms a good basis to demonstrate to students effective use of time with the aim of understanding and recording the steps that will ensure maximum results!

I use a process-based approach to problem-solving so as to equip the students with the methods to approach maths questions regardless of how it is presented to them. I'm patient and adapt well to each student to ensure they are receiving the maximum possible benefit from the lessons. I am very passionate about maths and it is evident from my work ethic, positivity and encouraging approach with my students.

I met Jide as an engineering student at the university of Birmingham over a decade ago, and I have since then been impressed with his mathematical aptitude and love for teaching. Jide is a vastly experienced tutor and has tutored in both science and mathematics from GCSEs to A levels for 10+ years. I have known him to be adaptable with his approach to his Tutees, but ultimately focused on enabling you compass exams. Beyond that, you will enjoy his jovial character as a person.
