About Yunia
I am a certified educator with several years of experience teaching both elementary and middle school students. I have taught 5th grade math, science, and social studies as well as middle school science for grades 6–8. Through my classroom experience, I have developed a strong ability to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps that help students truly understand the material.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and building confidence in students. I believe that every student can succeed when they are given the right support and learning strategies. My approach as a tutor is student-centered, supportive, and focused on building both understanding and confidence. At the end of the session, we review key ideas and discuss strategies the student can use when solving similar problems in the future.
