About Charbel
I have been tutoring mathematics since year 12 to students aged 11+. Having done Maths at A-level and Further Maths at AS-level, I have well rounded experience in the course. This is supplemented by completing several mathematics modules at university where I scored in the top 10% in the year. My specialism and interests at the moment are in numerical methods and finite element techniques, both of which have a significant level of mathematics involved.

I first establish what the student needs help in BEFORE the session and plan a lesson tailored to them. This will involve a starter/warm-up activity to get them thinking and engaged, followed by an introduction to the fundamentals of the topic, going through some exercises together and going through a summary at the end. I will also tend to set a few questions as homework for the student to try outside the session which we will go over together at the start of our next session.
