With my background in creative writing, university teaching, and nonprofit work supporting diverse learners, I’m committed to creating a safe, encouraging space for every student to thrive. I’ve been a teacher, a writer, and a lifelong learner with a passion for connecting with curious minds. As a university instructor in creative writing and composition, I know how to make challenging topics engaging and relatable. Before my academic career, I worked in the nonprofit sector, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental differences, and I grew up in an inclusive community that shaped my patient, adaptable teaching style. Other than reading, writing, and teaching, I also love movies, sports, DJing, and dare I admit I love karaoke.
