About Arthur
My name is Arthur and I am 35 years old. I have taught Science for 12 years, with GCSE and A Level classes every year. I have been Head of Physics and also Head of Biology in that time. I love my job and I think Science is the best.
The students I have taught have always improved considerably, in their understanding, engagement, confidence, motivation and consequent exam results.
Over time I have improved and refined my approaches to teaching Science so that I can now offer an excellent scheme of explanations, practice opportunities and frameworks for study that allow students to be successful.

My teaching is helpful if you are doing GCSE or A Level Sciences and are lacking confidence or motivation needed to succeed
I have taught Science for 12 years and been Head of Physics and Biology in that time. I have a proven track record for excellent exam results. I have worked for two years effectively as a tutor previously.
My sessions are typically an hour long and can involve creative approaches to understanding difficult concepts, successful strategies for independent study, lots of targeted practice with clear feedback to improve knowledge and understanding, study skills and exam technique. I aim to ensure that students feel more confident and motivated to study.
I will teach students studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE, and A Level Biology students.
