About Miranda
As someone who has navigated both dyslexia and ADHD, I understand how frustrating it is when reading, writing and learning isn’t coming as easy to you as it is to your classmates. I create a reassuring, patient, and encouraging atmosphere in my lessons. Hi there, I’m Miranda and I’m currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in English Literature! Having studied both English Literature and Language at GCSE and A-Level, I’m familiar with the skills it takes to achieve top marks. I tailor my online sessions to individual needs, identifying areas for improvement and curating specific activities to accomplish your academic goals.
My experience:
I have tutored for the last three years and have worked with Key Stages 1 and 2, Eleven-plus and GCSE students. I have also volunteered at a primary school for the last four years (working primarily with Key Stage 1) where I conducted 1 to 1 support sessions with dyslexic students.

My hourly rate is £15, with discounted packs available for those booking multiple sessions: 5 hours for £65 (£13/hour) or 10 hours for £120 (£12/hour); this makes regular tutoring more affordable long-term. Lessons are held online, so no travel costs!
