My teaching approach goes step-by-step. I teach the student by introducing and reviewing the material with them and then having them participate by doing activities and answering questions. The first thing I do while teaching new material, is introducing it through images, powerpoints, notetaking, and elaborating upon what it is and tricks and tips on understanding it better. When I tutor a student who already has a teacher, I will start by asking them to explain to me what they have already learned and tell me what they are struggling. If the student is struggling with the entire coarse at school, I will reteach it to them from the bottom and building up. The next step is answering any questions they had and trying to find out where the student may have gotten lost while teaching the material(if they did at all) and explaining it using imagery, examples, and student-participation. Once the student feels confident that they understand the information that they learned, they engage in verbal, artistic, and hands-on activities to display what they have learned on their own. If the student feels confident giving me a verbal brief summary teaching me the material they had learned, I would ask them to do that as well. One of the most important parts while teaching a student is making sure what they learned sticks with them, and that's why these steps are required. Another important part of teaching a student is making sure they are engaged in the lesson, and are learning with their own personal learning style; whether that be auditory, hands-on, visual, etc.

I am flexible with pricing. All courses will be done through webcam, and are at a set price of $14(however this can be negotiated). Cancellations must be done at least 3 hours before-hand, or I will still charge for the set appointment as if the student were in class.
