Cancellation and no-show policy: The student may cancel a lesson by giving at least 24 hours prior notice to the tutor, in which case no tuition fees will be incurred. Failure to cancel the session by giving at least 24 hours prior notice to the tutor means that the student will be charged the full hourly rate. Lessons not attended by the student without giving 24 hours notice prior to the tutor shall be charged at the full rate.
Late policy: If the student is late for the scheduled tutoring session, they will still be billed from the start of the scheduled time. For example, if the student is 20 minutes late for a one-hour session, the full hour will be billed to your account. If the student is 15 minutes late or more, the tutor may cancel the session. If they choose to do so, you will be billed for the entire duration of the scheduled session for up to one hour. If the tutor is 15 minutes late or more, you will have the potion of cancelling the entire session at no charge to you.
Ending a session early: If you choose to end a scheduled session early, you will still be billed for the full scheduled time. For example, if the student schedules a one-hour session and chooses to end the session after 45 minutes, the student will still be billed for the whole hour.
Extending a session beyond the booking time slot: If the tutor agrees to remain in the session and assist you past the scheduled session time, you will be charged on a per-minute basis for the extra time. The rate is calculated using your current tutoring plan.
