About Smriti Barnwal
I am an English language and literature teacher, based in Kolkata. I have completed my MA from Jadavpur University and BA.BEd. from RIE Bhubaneswar, NCERT. I have been an ICSE student till 10th and then studied at CBSE. Having a sound understanding of the use and nuances of English and having received proper training in teaching English, I like interacting with young minds and instilling the love for this language in them. I see English as a descriptive, user based language, centered around expression and communication and believe in my skills to enable my students do the best in learning it.

My teaching method is student centric where I focus on constructing knowledge in the child, rather than spoon feeding them with everything. I take a very detailed approach in making the child realise and build the concepts as per his/her understanding and guide the child for it. I prepare the child to learn independently for a longer time.
