About Clemency

As I have gone through the recent GCSE/ A-Level syllabus myself, I am aware of what skills might be useful to develop when working towards exams.

I am keen to not only aid students in examinations but also help them to foster a genuine interest in the texts they are studying - I found that being passionate about set texts allows for a much fuller exploration of what the syllabus has to offer.

About the class

I am happy to offer lessons based around the texts students are looking at, and focus in on the areas they may find more challenging.

My lessons would include:
. looking at unseen texts in order to aid analytical skills
. Discussions over how to approach examinations
. In depth analysis of set texts, and wider discussions of the text as a whole

If students would prefer to focus on one thing more than another, I am more than happy to accommodate to their needs.

I am also able to provide advice for those applying to Oxford and Cambridge - whether it be about personal statements, interview preparation, or practice interviews.
