About Kalyan
Hello! I’m an English graduate and a passionate language teacher from India. I teach English to school students, especially elementary learners, and I also teach Bengali to NRI children who want to learn and stay connected with their mother tongue and culture.
I believe that every child can learn a language when it is taught in a simple, engaging, and encouraging way. My classes focus not only on grammar and vocabulary but also on speaking, pronunciation, reading, comprehension, and everyday communication.
I use interactive and activity-based teaching methods, including conversations, storytelling, picture-based activities, games, role plays, quizzes, and real-life examples. I try to make every lesson practical and enjoyable so that students can understand concepts clearly and use what they learn with confidence.
As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and attentive to each learner’s individual needs. I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn from them without hesitation. I believe that a positive learning environment is essential for building confidence.
For my Bengali classes, I particularly enjoy helping NRI children develop their Bengali language skills through everyday conversations, stories, vocabulary, and cultural connections.
