As a tutor, my approach is centered around creating a personalized and engaging learning experience for each student. We’ll then move on to new material, which could range from learning scales and chord progressions to working on a specific song or bass line. I like to include practical exercises that apply theoretical concepts in a musical context, so students can see how what they’re learning fits into real music. We end with a recap and a quick discussion on what to practice for the next lesson.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my versatility and real-world experience. I’ve performed in a variety of genres, from jazz and funk to rock and blues, and I bring this diversity into my lessons. I’m also patient, encouraging, and focused on making sure my students have fun while learning. My goal is to make each lesson a positive and motivating experience that inspires a love for music.
