About Nandini
Hi! I am an Engineering major with an interest in Computer Science, and I will be a freshman in the fall! I have been teaching students for about 3-4 years now, both individually and at a tutoring center. I have plenty of experience working with children from ages 4-18, as well as students with any special needs or concerns. My students have used my lessons to get ahead in their classes at school, as well as to gain an advantage for STEM school applications or SAT preparation. I have been attending a selective STEM institution for 4 years now, and because I've gone to prep myself, I'm well informed about various application processes as well, whether it's for middle school or high school students.

In several studies that have been conducted about the topic, and with my own experience throughout high school, the best way of understanding a subject is to learn it through meaningful repetition. In my 3 years of teaching, I mainly approach teaching my students by problem-solving, and in-depth explanation. My students and I usually work through difficult homework questions together, where I answer any questions they have if they were not able to finish it alone. We then move forward with new concepts after they have solidified the previous one.
