About Yizern

I'm a 2024 HSC graduate currently working towards a bachelor's of civil engineering at UNSW. I've been tutoring for over 2 years during and after high school. Having been tutored myself from Year 9 to 12, I understand the importance of a good mentor and tutor.

I don't believe in brute forcing teaching for hours. I'm a very chill person. I like to get to know my students well and talk about random stuff before and after lessons.

Depending on the topic I'm teaching, my lessons usually begin by introducing the topic and the motivation behind learning it. This is then followed by plenty of example questions which are first demonstrated by me then attempted by my students.

Since I've worked with a variety of students, I'm also able to adjust my teaching style - it's up to you how you want me to teach!!
